Apprenticeship with a future

Training period: 3 years

During the apprenticeship you will pass through the most diverse areas of our company. From marketing and sales, to production and purchasing, to financial accounting and controlling. You will be taught commercial knowledge from the sub-areas.

You will learn which modes of transport exist and what you need to consider when choosing them in order to make goods available in the right place at the right time. You will also be shown what this process looks like and how faults are recorded.

You will get to know the various hardware, software and network components in the emco Group at home and abroad, put them into operation, integrate them into existing systems and ensure smooth operation through regular maintenance. You will also develop solutions for IT requirements in the office and production environment as well as for mobile workplaces in the field.

You will be introduced step by step to the work as an IT specialist and will soon be primarily involved in projects in the areas of web development and e-commerce. After you have built up a good basis of knowledge and skills, you will already be involved in IT solutions.

Training period: 3 ½ years

During this time you will learn the basics of metal processing such as milling, drilling, turning and use them to create components that are required for production/machines. You set up our machines professionally, monitor the operational process, eliminate faults and carry out the necessary maintenance and repair measures.

Training period: 3 ½ years

During this time you will learn the basics of metal processing and use them to create components for tools, assemble complex tools and carry out a function check. You will also be responsible for setting up and programming CNC-controlled machines.

Training period: 3 ½ years

During the training you will learn how to read technical plans, how to assemble assemblies and components into machines and systems, how to program mechatronic systems and how to configure these systems.

You will learn how to install, repair and maintain systems and machines step by step. The installation of cable routing systems, energy and information lines as well as the electrical equipment of machines with the associated automation systems is also taught.

Training period: 3 ½ years

During the training you will learn computer-aided drawing and design with CAD systems. You present the results of your work and justify your decision. You will also create ready-to-manufacture individual part and assembly drawings and select materials and manufacturing techniques. Your tasks will also include the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and parts lists.

You can then even produce the product you have designed yourself in your own workshop to find out whether you have written the production instructions and assembly plans correctly and selected the materials sensibly.

During your training, you will learn how to accept goods and control delivery. You will also be shown how to store goods, carry out stock checks and remove goods.

Training period: 3 years

During the training you will be shown how to select suitable processing methods such as injection molding, blow molding, foaming and thermoforming as well as raw materials, additives and auxiliary materials. You determine processing parameters such as temperature, time and pressure, set up the production machines and systems accordingly and monitor the entire production process. In the processing or post-processing of the molded parts, you use non-cutting or metal-cutting processes, temper and condition molded parts and treat surfaces. You also pack, transport and store molded parts professionally.
